I hate Heonjae so much it’s not even funny. Every time I see his face, it pisses me off. He’s just a little bitch with zero social skills, got bullied for it and that why he ended up so messed up in the head.
And I know he doesn’t know what happened to Jingi, but he resents him and thinks that despite the fact Jingi grew up with their uncle, WHO HE KNOWS HATED THEM AND THEIR MOTHER, thinks that Jingi just coasted through life and had it easier than him.
He pities himself SO MUCH. It’s pathetic. His design doesn’t even do it for me anymore. I legitimately roll my eyes whenever he does anything and I wish Myeonggi wasn’t so nice to him. Half the nice things Myeonggi thinks Heonjae did for him were Jingi’s idea bc Heonjae is THAT pathetic. He doesn’t even know how to treat someone he likes. It’s simple. He should literally just ask himself “WOULD I LIKE SOMEONE MOLESTING ME AGAINST MY WILL?”. Crazy that Myeonggi and Jingi had to tell him that. I don’t care that he’s mentally unwell. Every child alive knows about the golden rule.
Honestly, I could probably look past all this but I really can’t forgive Heonjae for treating his brother so poorly, in general, because Jingi looks out for him (even if he’s mean about it sometimes. It’s just Heonjae lack so much common sense, Jingi is an asshole about it). But ESPECIALLY because Jingi was abused his entire childhood, antagonized his entire adult life and their uncle is constantly trying to record his death. He’s just so selfish, and not even in an endearing, yandere way. But a Sheldon Cooper Autistic sort of way. Sorry for phrasing it like that, but omfg. It’s my second time reading this chapter. Thought I’d be cooler the second time around. I’m not. Hate him so much. Genuinely, if his design was cool, would anyone want him to be a the love interest or for a throuple situation? NOOOOOOOO.
