Summary
“I don’t need your hand, so get lost, you bastard.”
Jerim suffers another bitter defeat in his second Champions League final. In the heat of the moment, he harshly rejects the hand extended to him by Aaron, an opposing team striker and his former youth teammate. This sparks renewed rumors of conflict between them. In reality, their relationship really isn’t good, so it is less a rumor and more the truth. Since they play in different leagues, Jerim does not think much of it.
“Let’s try to get along again from now on, Jerim.”
That is, until just a month later, when Aaron makes a free transfer and joins Jerim’s club. It is already bad enough having to become teammates with the guy who humiliated him in the final, but to make matters worse, that same guy is his ex. And not just any ex, but one he ended things with in the worst possible way.
