Their twisted, fucked up brains are fascinating to watch, and it’s always interesting to see how the author manages to keep making their relationship even worse lol.
Also, there’s a lot of stories where fictional characters get undeserved hate. It’s kind of refreshing to read a story where a character genuinely deserves every last ounce of hate you can throw at him.
Back when they were younger (high school / teen years), Kwon Jiwook was the one who started everything.
Jiwook (along with his gang/friends) took advantage of Jooyeon’s feelings and vulnerability. Instead of anything good, they gang-raped Jooyeon.
It didn’t stop there: They recorded videos and took photos of the assault.
They spread those videos and pictures around, and it eventually reached Jooyeon’s mother. Because of the shock and humiliation, Jooyeon’s mom had a severe breakdown and ended up hospitalized. There was also a scene where they locked Jooyeon in a bathroom stall with a vibrator (or similar object) while he was suffering.
Basically, Jiwook and his group completely destroyed Jooyeon’s life back then — physically, sexually, and emotionally. Jooyeon lived with deep trauma for years, while Jiwook and the others seemed to move on like nothing happened. (idk what to feel abt it honestly but maybe just atleast, jiwook got gb one time)
Even after reading the novel I can’t help it but feel so bad for Jiwook, specially because of his expressions of pain😠ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Can’t imagine how geumsam will ilustrate the end scene and THOSE parts when the past is revealedðŸ˜
Umm tff is this . I know that Bottom guy did very bad things to Top in the past , likeee he made him go through alot. But the way Top is taking revenge by rape likeee okayy its BL what else you expect . But the way this artist and author describes the rape scenes shows that they have weird fetish . If you read Non Sum Zero there is rape rape and rape but the rape here is fantasized. New new methods are chosen as torture and this is not normal
I feel sad, two wrongs don’t make a right. You can’t fix the past. But creating all kinds of new traumas for jiwook is insane, I’m very interested in how things play out but I hate thinking, at the back of my mind I have to constantly remind myself, it’s not a love story, I cant say it’s a proper revenge story either, but that might be to soon to think. 🤔 I just feel disappointed in the choices they both made and how it only further entangles them to each other in the worst ways. One trauma exists in the body and mind, it never goes way and you spend your life just coping with it. That’s a lot of trauma. [something’s are not worth it, we should try to be kind]
Honestly you guys… how dare you feel bad for jiwook. Just because you see him experience pin because that’s the center of the story doesn’t mean he should be pitied. Of course what he’s going through isn’t pretty but honestly it’s well deserved. And dare I say I feel bad for juyeon. The only way he could find relief is by taking his revenge but even that couldn’t satisfy him, and in the process of doing so he feels a slight of guilt for jiwook but did jiwook ever feel compassion for him? Of course jueyeon isn’t a good person at all either but please don’t feel pity for jiwook.
