I love that the author included a side character who says out loud what readers are thinking too (or at least should be thinking). No, you don’t kiss someone who’s asleep! They can’t consent, so it’s sexual assault. Having a side character call it out and put things into perspective is such a breath of fresh air, especially since so many BLs flirt with rape culture.
