Oh man. They tried their best, but GN form just could not do this masterpiece of a scene justice. Do yourself a favor and go hunt down the original anime version of Mignon. It is the single best vampire transformation sequence I’ve ever seen, regardless of genre. You can find it if you look. It’s broken into short mini episodes. The transformation is episode 10 where I watched it.
AHHHH~~ The transformation scene! I think the anime version is better, especially with Mignon’s thoughts. But reading the Doctor’s thoughts were so good too! Especially now that we know Mignon is now a vampire subordinate. Reading the yaoi is so fun due to the differences. Hopefully they update it soon, and we get even more content than the anime!
