I read the novel and expected to be a drastic change but thats not realistic considering how bad and twisted the story is, so i find it āmake senseā but still I must say I want mc to be happier he didnāt do anything wrong with kind of storyline u see both mc and ml being morally grey not perfect not bad but in this mc is literally a victim i loved that in the novel he finds peace with ml but ml should do better and change better. Its as if mc gave to ml controling? Maybe thats peace was him stopping being anxious about his dad and uncle case and make someone ācontrol and directā his life gives him peace of mind?
