It’s the other way around. In their relationship / communication Dane is absolute scumbag and bad person, he has done a really bad stuff to Grayson so there is that .
Guys, I hope y’all won’t regret those hates toward Grayson soon or later.
That pretty boy doesn’t even know the difference between what’s good and what’s not.
I’m tired explaining that he didn’t mean to hurt his little brother Chase. 😭
My baby will probably suffer a lot from something he doesn’t even understand. 💔
First of all, I understand that the manhwa has to be shorter than the novel, but they’ve also changed several things, and I’m not sure I like those changes.
1. Grayson only decided to visit the card reader after hearing that the prediction she gave Keith had come true.
2. The fight between Grayson and Deandre is completely different. In the novel, Grayson fought all three of them and beat them so badly he nearly killed them before Dane stepped in.
3. In this chapter, Dane recalls helping Grayson after they fell down the slope, but that never happened in the novel. Instead, Dane briefly considered kicking Grayson down the slope himself, but decided it would be too extreme. During their fight, Grayson also nearly beat Dane. The manhwa, however, portrays Grayson as a weak Alpha.
4. The burning house scene was also changed. In the novel, Dane was the one who kicked Grayson, nearly injuring him, and then completely ignored him. It wasn’t Grayson’s fault for leaving the house. The manhwa leaves all of that out, making Grayson look like a psycho villain.
5. Other important moments were omitted as well, such as Koi’s chase phone call, Grayson’s call with Stacy, and several other scenes. They even changed Grayson’s style.
My biggest hope is that they won’t change or omit the interactions between Grayson and Dane, because that’s the most important part of the story. Their relationship is what truly shows who they are as characters. For most of the novel, Dane is an absolute scumbag, while Grayson is the complete opposite. I really hope the adaptation stays faithful to the source material when it comes to their development and interactions.
