Summary
Tired of his model student image, Jinwoo sneaks out to a club and ends up spending the night with a stranger after drinking. The next morning, he wakes up alone with cash by the bed and assumes he was paid for sex, leaving him angry and confused. Trying to move on, he returns to campus and helps out at a student performance—only to see the same man from that night, Kwon Taeyoung, on stage. With a bright smile and loud voice, Taeyoung says, “Found ya.”

This story falls kind of flat for me, perhaps due to cultural differences. I think perhaps in Korean culture, the idea that you can get someone blackout drunk and then extract a promise out of them does in fact put the onus on that person to fulfill that promise, but for me it’s pathetic when (a), alcohol is used as an excuse and characters just walk into that trap because.. they don’t know what to do other than drink??? Like drink water if you need to be doing something with your hands? no I do not buy that you HAVE to accept drinks offered to you, and (b) the story treats whatever transpired during that drunken moment as legitimate relationship progress.
I stopped reading at chapter 16 because I don’t believe the author will make the love interest face any kind of repercussions for raping/blackmailing the MC. I predict that the MC will at some point decide that all transgressions are forgiven because of ~*love*~ and it will never be brought up again.
